BIOGRAPHY

My work is largely a response to our rapidly changing environment.
Urban regeneration is happening all around us, sometimes at an alarming rate. The use of highly saturated colour and the energy running through each image appears to be an optimistic response to our shifting landscape, but as with most change there is a degree of anxiety as our mindscape must also change if we are to avoid the unsettling feeling of being left behind.
The horror of global unrest will inevitably lead us to increasingly seek out and explore new pockets of pleasure. The simple act of resting the eye on pleasing imagery will help help to remind us of our true essence, if only for a moment.

Pickering Pastures, Nature Reserve, Mersey Rd, Ditton, Widnes.
